Cristina Mendonsa is an Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Award–winning journalist, producer, and educator whose career spans more than two decades across television, radio, and digital media. Cristina is known for delivering stories with integrity, impact, and heart.

She has reported and anchored for ABC, CBS, and NBC affiliates, and currently anchors the morning news on News 93.1 KFBK for iHeartMedia. In 2017, she founded Mendonsa Media, a successful content strategy and digital marketing agency serving clients in California and beyond.

Cristina earned her B.A. in Political Science and Journalism from CSU Sacramento and holds a Master’s in Communications and Leadership from Gonzaga University. Her graduate thesis explored the evolving work habits of journalists in major media markets.

Deeply connected to her Sacramento roots, Cristina is passionate about community storytelling, leadership development, and mentoring the next generation of media professionals. She lives in Folsom with her husband, author and educator Jonathan Robinette.
