PROPEL

New in 2025
Since 2006, the San Juan Education Foundation has been dedicated to supporting the teachers, students, and community of the San Juan Unified School District through our grant programs. We are proud to have invested more than $890,000 into classrooms.
PROPEL Grants provide funding* to educators and school-site staff (including classified personnel) to foster rich and inclusive learning experiences. Review our grant policies prior to submitting your grant application.
The PROPEL Grant Program funds projects that:
• Promote academic achievement for every student.
• Reaffirm a commitment to creating safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive classrooms that nurture joy and inclusion.
• Optimize meaningful, engaging, and accessible educational experiences.
• Provide financial relief to grantees.
• Empower grantees to develop innovative and dynamic learning environments.
