Holly Lohuis is a marine biologist and educator with the Jean-Michel Cousteau Ocean Futures Society, where she serves as a key scientific liaison and expedition team member for international ocean documentaries. A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Holly has spent more than two decades connecting audiences to the wonders—and urgency—of ocean conservation.

Born and raised in Arden Park, Holly credits her time in San Juan Unified schools with sparking her passion for environmental science. Today, she travels the world sharing stories of marine exploration with students and communities, helping them understand the deep connection between a healthy ocean and our shared future.
